Switch Labo VR Kit was officially launched last month making “VR” once again one of the most popular buzzwords. But what else can it be used besides gaming, especially in sectors that really matter to our lives? After co-creating a multi-award winning VR game Earthlight with NASA in 2017, Opaque Media Group deployed an innovative project in health-care industry. By engaging in VR training, healthcare professionals can see through patients’ eyes to establish a much greater level of empathy for people with dementia, ASD, low vision and significantly improve the quality of care compared with traditional classroom training.
